ECC has dismissed Summerway Junior LTC’s development plans, put forward in May 1999, without discussion.  It has ignored the Club’s call for a moratorium, and bulldozed through its own plans “which do not involve the Summerway club”.  It is waiting for things to die down, as they have in the case of the Orchard Adventure Playground. This bullying isn’t democracy.  It bodes ill for the future if the City Council get away with this.  The Summerway Watchers is a confidential and informed group who receive emails to keep matters alive.
