John, Summerway’s hugely talented LTA tennis coach, provided group coaching to all members without charge.  As one of the many results of the City Council’s crime against the community of ‘constructively evicting’ the Club from its premises, John and the children have lost their base for tuition.  The last time I spoke with John, he was no longer coaching.  This is a massive loss and waste. John has been hugely successful, coaching Club players into the top 32 in their UK age groups at the Junior National Championships, besides launching others towards a very high standard.  ECC seems to have not an inkling of the deprivation it has caused.
